Saturday, March 16th
The police went back to the Chief Priests and Pharisees who said to them, "Why have you not brought Him?" The police replied,
"There has never been anybody who has spoken like him"

John 7:45-46

To listen to the teaching of the Son of Man and to try to live in the light of it is a good beginning for anyone seeking the word of truth and life. For the word will become within his mind and heart a light to his way and a guide to his path.

And as the word is, so is the nature and dynamic of the One who speaks it. So all who are by confronted with the word are encountered by the very Lord of Life and Light and Truth. And as they hear so must they react, and however they respond conditions that which they become and do in all things.

How important, then, for every child of man to pause and read and study, consider and put into good effect those things which are presented to the mind that speak to him of goodness, truth and life. Those who refuse to be confronted by these things are challenged nonetheless, and by their negative response fail to progress or find fulfilment for their life.

All are confronted by the Word of truth in ways discernible and meaningful. So is each child of man, each beloved of their Heavenly Father, offered means of following in the way of life.
