"Lead us…………"

Those who do not know the Father and so are unable consciously to align themselves with His will are unable to look for a lead in matters of action and policy and relationship. Many receive such a lead, not realising the source of their help if they try to live in integrity and love.

But the children of the Father who call him Lord receive the salvation and power of my risen life and walk in the power of Our Holy Spirit and are blessed indeed even in adversity.

But those who do constantly look for the Father's leading by my indwelling and by the power of Our Holy Spirit are few by comparison with the number which regards and practices commitment.

Seek the Father's will in all things in all circumstances. Help others so to seek His will. When in committee or in planning of any kind remember that the only thing which really matters is that the Father's holy, purposeful and undivided will be done.

And recall that in this disposition is perfection of joy, fulfilment of life and progress in eternal life. In the orientation of the mind is the Father served. Where this is rightly set the going is sure and safe. The vessel, whether individual or corporate will eventually, safely and gloriously arrive where the rudder is rightly set.
