Jesus prayed, "Father, into Thy hands I commend My spirit."
Luke 23:46

My body and My spirit were separated for a season , My spirit advancing in the Father's love to minister to those who inhabit the shades between earth and Heaven. The penitent thief was on the threshold ; through the light of My Presence he saw the way and advanced towards the Father's Presence with joy and purpose.

As for My body - My loved ones watched in grief, the centurion glorified the Father even through its lifelessness, and faithful Joseph attended to the things he was able to do for the disposal. All looked and grieved and waited. Many bystanders who had shared in the mocking went home ashamed, many who merely watched were later able to relate to the occasion of My death with faith and understanding.

All My loving, faithful children need constantly to commit themselves , body mind and spirit , into the loving, watchful care of the Father ; as they wake, as they work, and before they sleep. In that context , with the power of our Holy Spirit and in the love which embraces all, the individual soul is guided and matured, the community is penetrated with light and love, and the progress towards ultimate fulfilment is assured.
