Wednesday, September 5th
At daybreak Jesus went out to a solitary place. The people were looking for Him, and when the came to where He was, they tried to keep Him from leaving them, but He said, "I must preach the good news of the Kingdom to the other towns
because that is why I was sent."
Luke 4:36

As the people of Capernaum found Me, so may I always be found. Whether the place be in heart or mind or in the quiet solitude of land or sea I wait for the searching soul and for those who seek rest and refreshment for their journey and for challenges in the way.

And as I am found, so do I minister to each and every one according to the disposition and need. I support the broken-hearted, strengthen the weak, and encourage those who dally or grow weary. For I have travelled along the way of trial and desolation and have tasted the bitterness of all that can assail in life and death.

But I have also shown the fruits of victory in and through My saving love. In life I taught and ministered even to the death of My body on the cross of shame and suffering. So the Father's love brought me to life eternal, and that life is consequently the prize and reward of all who live in Me. This is the good news which even now I preach to all through every beloved child of the Father who lives in Me and I in them in every town and village the world over.
