Jesus said, "My mother and My brothers are those who hear the word of God and
put it into practice."
Luke 3:21

The first essential is to desire to seek the word of the Father above all things. If this appears to be a pious, self-conscious even arrogant aspiration it is only so in the early stages: soon it becomes second nature to the single-minded, But there is always need for careful thought when planning, and un-selfcentred reaction to the situations and circumstances of every day life.

And having desired the Father's will through the light of Our Holy Spirit, each child of the Father will be confronted with it in small things as in great: the will of the Father is expressed through word and circumstance and also through the minds and hearts and wills of others committed to the Father's loving purpose.

But to perceive the Father's will and purpose by little or by much is but the beginning. Nothing can be achieved without the light of Our Holy Spirit and the power of My Indwelling. And these must be desired and sought as We ceaselessly desire and seek to pour them into the hearts and minds of the earnestly committed.

Ask seek, knock. Remember?
