Sunday, September 16th
Ss. Cornelius and Cyprian
Jesus prayed, "Holy Father, keep those you have given Me true to Your Name. As You sent Me into the world, I have sent them into the world."
John 17:18

Let all who respond to the call of Our service in others great or small know the joy and the power of Our Indwelling. Herein is the key to the door of fulfilment, the enabling of that which is required of the faithful in love. And there must always be a withdrawal from the known and familiar, a willingness to be given in service and caring love, a recognition that no committed child of the Father may choose the path of his own going in small things or in great. Daily he prays, "Father, thy will be done", and with that prayer should be the deep knowledge that I lovingly minister at all levels of human experience, as I am invited and given leave, to enable and empower that which the Father desires for the progressing and fulfilment of His loving purpose for the one and the many. But all must be desired in the deepest parts of heart and mind. And as it is with the individual soul, so is it with group and Church and nation.

Father, consecrate them all in truth. Our word is truth.
