John the Baptist said to his Disciples, "The Father loves the Son and has entrusted everything to Him. Anyone who believes in the Son has life, but anyone who refuses to believe in the Son will never see life: the anger of the Lord stays upon him"
John 3:35-36

To believe is to commit the mind and heart and will to that which is presented to them. The Father has put all things into the authority of His Son, and His Son offers the Father His redeemed creation which is sanctified through Our loving Holy Spirit.

So the proper occupation of all that lives is working towards that fulness of life and living which the Son continually presents as He personally and individually addresses each and every one of the Father's beloved children.

And as each is addressed so must he respond by acceptance, rejection or inertia. And as he responds so does he receive or reject abundant life in and through my saving love. The inert will atrophy unless quickened into action. And though the Father grieves and my heart bleeds afresh the rebellious soul cannot be saved unless he seeks salvation : he needs but to turn in hope to the light which is continually held out to him.

The Father's love and the Son's self-giving, with Our Holy Spirit's light and guiding are the source of all life's joy.
