Jesus said, "Was it not ordained that the Christ should suffer
and so enter into His glory?"
Luke 24:25-26

Consider and understand that the power and grace of My Indwelling are the fruits of My suffering. Through the willing offering of Myself on the Cross I destroyed the barrier of mortifying sin which separated all humankind from the Father and so from Me. So may I reign in joy and in power where the heart and mind will enthrone Me in the centre of being.

Yet still I suffer until every child of the Father is possessed by His love, and I call every brother and sister of Mine who call Me Master and Lord to identify totally with the cosmic, joyful, demanding, suffering commitment in which I am perpetually engaged. Joy is not the absence and avoidance of suffering but triumphant, patient progress through the contrary circumstances which assail all humanity. Every one, trials great and small, can be used if offered in the power of My death and resurrection, in the great work of My redemption.

So unite all that you suffer, all that goes contrary to joy and the problems and sadnesses of the world with My great universal offering and you will know the peace and the power and the glory of Our Victory.
