St, John
Chrysostom - 349-403
Ephesians
41-7, 11-13. Mark 4:1-10. 13-20
The Lord your God is one and undivided
and He calls one and all in His
world to unity and identity with
His will and loving purpose that
they may respond to His Love and
receive the peace which passes understanding
and preserve ‘the unity of
the Spirit and the peace that binds
them together’. Seek to be
one in Us as We become one in you
through Love’s indwelling
and the light and guiding of Our
Holy Spirit. ‘There is one
Lord, one faith, one baptism, and
one God who is Father of all, over
all, through all and within all’.
The Lord your God is one.
And from and through that unity
of being and purpose issues the
particularity and individual blessing
for one and all who, responding
to the Father’s Love and committed
to His will and loving purpose,
offer all they have and all they
are to Him who loved them into being.
Pray to become one is Us that
We may become one in you and bring
you to perfection and fulfilment
in your personal offering and in
the fellowship of all to whom We
have led and guided you.
