Amos 3:1-8,11-12, Matthew 8:23-27

The Most High speaks His word into His world and the sons and daughters of His love are called to respond in love and in self-giving. The natural world responds according to its nature. The children of the Most High, father of all born into His most glorious world, are given heart and mind to glorify Him in and through His love, and wills to glorify Him in what they do and in what they are becoming. But all are free to reject his gifts and blessings or turn aside in mindlessness or procrastination.

Let all who follow in the way that they are freely and lovingly offered realise that the whole world is in the Father’s hands and that nothing can separate the faithful and the true of heart from the Father’s protecting, all-embracing love and that ‘all things work together for good for those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose’ (Romans 8:28).

Be still, then, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10).and follow faithfully you who are led and guided by Our Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14).
