St. John of the Cross
1 Corinthians 2:1-10. Luke 14:25-33

Through giving all you will receive all: such is the promise and assurance of the Most High revealed and spoken through His Son who is His Word Incarnate and His Incarnate Love.

And what do you give when you offer all you have and all you are to Him who loved you into being? Commitment to the will and loving purpose of the Most High is the primary and fundamental offering which He seeks that He may bring you to the fulness of His perfect will for you in the context of His will for all.

The way of finding and progressing in the way of the loving purpose of the Most High and obedience to His word in the grace and power of His love is through following in the steps of the Son of Man in faith and trust and absolute self-giving. In life, in death, in sorrow, pain, and in rejoicing identify with My self-offering as you are led and guided by our Holy Spirit - I speak to one and all.

“Never was fount so clear , undimmed and bright;
From it alone, I know proceeds all light, although ‘tis night”.
(St. John of the Cross.)
