Acts 6:8-15. John 6:22-29

Only the single-minded and the pure in heart can know truth: all who refuse the light offered cannot understand eternal life, much less enter into it. The harm they may inflict on others is limited by the Father’s loving purpose, but they themselves are lost to the hope of their high calling unless they turn and return to Him in whom they live and move and have their being. In Him is life and light and truth and – in and through Our Holy Spirit – life eternal.

I, the beloved and loving Son of the Most High, His word incarnate and incarnate love, am the Way, the truth, the Life – the means of entry into life eternal and progress in it. This is the simple but profound truth offered to every one of the Father’s beloved sons and daughters born into His world. I, the Son of Man, bring all who are in Me and I in them to the Father in time and through eternity.

Not for yourself alone but for your brothers and your sisters near and far are you called to follow in the steps of the Son of Man, led and guided by Our Holy Spirit. ‘This is working for God: you must believe in the One He has sent’. (John 6:29)
