Hosea 2:16-18, Matt. 9:18-26

Let no-one be afraid of solitude and silence, but fear the noise which keeps the soul from finding peace and truth and joy in living. To know and love and serve the Father is the summit of delight and of fulfilment: it is the meaning and the end of life for every child of man in every place and time. The Father calls each beloved son and daughter to fellowship with Him as gradually, through life, each one identifies and follows that particular path of his unique vocation, through grace, obedience, and in the light and power of Our Indwelling. Faults, failures and sins are all transmuted into means of Our redeeming, sanctifying power as they are offered, and the blessings of Our love received in faith and trust and absolute self-giving.
