Suffering there needs must be if men and women are to have their freedom and their independence . For they must be free to choose the way We offer if they are to grow, develop , and progress in heart and mind and spirit . All who seek to seek the truth and power to walk in it are led and guided as they seek the Father's will and loving purpose . Those who seeing the right way and constantly rejecting it eventually lose the ability to identify it : their deeds and actions are increasingly prompted by self-will , pride and self-service : so they bring suffering on themselves and others .
