Genesis 19:15-29. Matt. 8:23-27

The Father holds the whole world in His hands. The microcosmic workings of the whole creation are through Him: through Our creative, redeeming, sanctifying love all things are brought to their fulfilment and perfection, and every child of man relating to Our truth and love and self-giving. Nothing can separate a child of man from Our protecting, all-embracing love save wilful sin and constant choice of evil and perversity. Each child of man is free even to choose his own destruction. But Our redeeming, sanctifying love awaits his turning.
