Jesus said, "When you have done all you have been told, say, 'We are merely servants: we have done no more than our duty'"
Luke 17:10

The good master provides for each of the servants of his household, overseeing their well-being and planning for the life and work of each within the context of the whole. And each faithful servant offers both his work and loyalty as his due service.

The Father has stored up for His beloved faithful servants such good things as pass man's understanding. But to inherit them His servants, who are the children of His love, must grow into that design and pattern of His perfect love which He has purposed for them. Each one has his own place and pattern of fulfilment to discover and to make his own: as he discovers and fulfils the Father's will and loving purpose his life and work are correlated with the whole through the power of My Indwelling and light and guiding of Our Holy Spirit. Even the faults and failures sadnesses and setbacks, are taken up, transformed, and woven into the eternal pattern of salvation as they are offered to Our saving love.

And so the duty of each faithful child of the loving Heavenly Father is his challenge and his ultimate fulfilment as it becomes his way of life in the power of Our saving, sanctifying love.
