Saturday, May 21st
Give us this day our daily bread.
Matthew 6:11

For 'daily bread' consider 'all that is needful'. An essential element in the life of every human being is a measure of the life of Our Holy, Life-giving Spirit. With this every child of the Father is born. As he grows and develops so does his capacity to receive increasing measure of Our Holy Spirit: in some of the Father's children Our spirit is comatose, in some few it is dead.

Our Holy Spirit has spanned the world since its creation and no living creature has been without some measure of it. When at the Feast of Pentecost, after the time of my ascent to the Father, Our Holy Spirit entered the hearts and minds of My Disciples, this was a dynamic input into the Father's world, made possible through My death and risen life. Through it the world as it had been known was turned upside down, and countless thousands living at that time became enlightened and enlivened through the teaching and preaching of My Disciples, which enabled My indwelling presence in individual and community, and, through my saving grace, the enveloping and penetration of our Holy Spirit.

So the Feast which will be celebrated by all My followers tomorrow the world over is an occasion and opportunity for the reception of new life and dynamic. And this power is as much a need for every child of the Father as the bread he prays for. See that you pray accordingly.
