Remembrance Sunday
1 Kings 17:10-16. Hebrews 9:24-28. Mark 12:38-44

What love, what faith, what trust is shown by those who give generously whatever their own need. The Father sees and knows and will reward them with the substance of His Presence in time and through eternity. And he will prosper the cause for which they pray in faith and trust and absolute self-giving. The Father’s loving purpose is fulfilled in them and He will bring them to perfection and fulfilment in eternity as they continue faithful in His love.

The Father’s will is done in those obedient to His word and faithful in His love, His loving purpose is fulfilled in them and in all they are given to do and suffer in His Name. Offering is all: even so did the Son of Man come to fulfilment of the Father’s loving purpose both for Himself and for the Father’s beloved sons and daughters.
