St. John of the Cross
1 Corinthians 2:1-16. Luke 14:25-37

Count the cost and pay the price when it is asked of you. The Son if Man took on the joyful burden of the redemption of mankind and followed it through the Father’s will and loving purpose even to the end.

The reward of faithfulness in the way is given to all who follow in the steps of the Son of Man and it is none less than their presence, in the fulness of eternal life in the glory of the Most High with all made perfect in Our love through the grace and power of Our redeeming sanctifying love.

In faith and trust and absolute self-giving follow in the steps of the Son of Man as you are led and guided by Our Holy Spirit. The cost is total, the reward none can fully understand until he comes to the glorious Presence of the King of Kings in His Kingdom of eternal life and light and love.
