Jesus said to Simon Peter, "When you grow old somebody else will put a belt round you and take you where you would rather not go."
John 21:18

Let all who grow in the pattern which the Father has designed for them offer to their Heavenly Father all that they expect to become and to do. Let each and every one who has progressed along the way and who rejoices in work well done, achievements in life accomplished, let each know and understand that the best is yet to be. And let him realise that only by renewed self-giving and inner abandonment to the Father's loving will and purpose will all be accomplished.

Age is for progressing in the way of holiness, and Our power and Our peace to reach out through the maturing soul to the busy unquiet world. And as each ageing child of the Father offers his increasing frailty to the Father's loving purpose so is he strengthened in his inner being and inwardly enlightened for the next stage along the way. And all who witness from without that growth in wholeness and holiness which ensues are themselves uplifted and progressed along the way.
