Monday February 26th
Jesus said, "I tell you solemnly, anyone who does not welcome the Kingdom of God
like a little child will never enter it."
Mark 10:14

As a child is to his loving parent, so is a committed child of the Heavenly Father. Confident in love, he trusts in all things that he encounters, and approaches them in joyful anticipation. When troubles and sadness come, he suffers and mourns, but he is comforted and strengthened by loving arms which set him on the way again.

When a child lacks knowledge and understanding of things he meets in the way, he runs to his father or mother and asks, confident that the answer is there to be found. And where the young mind finds itself unable to follow all that is told him, he probes further, or takes away the information to ponder over as he is able. And gradually the young mind makes sense of his world, joyful in expectation of what is yet to be discovered and enjoyed.

Such is the disposition and character of the mature child of the Father's Kingdom. Joyfully aware of his worth in love and of his unique part in the Father's Kingdom, he lives and works in fellowship and solidarity with his fellow men, and in loving commitment to Our Saving guiding, embracing love.
