Monday February 19th

All that a man is given him from above: nothing comes from himself. Yet by his faithful response and commitment to that which is given and revealed he becomes unique himself and is enabled to do great things for himself and his fellow men. And where the Father is glorified in his selfhood and his achievements there is great gain.

And the Father has put within the power of His beloved children not only a sharing in the creative activity of the earth but also in the redemption and healing of it. Both are vested in Me, and without Me neither can be achieved. I give to all who desire and seek that which will bind them to the Father and each other in love, the fruits of My redemption. And as they receive so do they become a part of the redemptive operation of the world, for as they respond in loving commitment so are they harnessed and yoked in joyful union with My Saving Love.

Prayer and self-giving are the means by which each may attain this fellowship in love which is the birthright and the promised reward of every child of the Father who has ever lived or ever will. But let no-one discount the cost and the pain of the challenge. Such needs must be for growth and maturity in a world which contains the corrosion of evil. Take heart : I am present in all, loving each and every one through all that he encounters and suffers. All is well for the faithful in love.
