St. John, Apostle and Evangelist
The other Disciple who had reached the tomb first also wend in: he saw and believed.
John 20:8

What we have seen and heard we are telling you so that you too may in union with us as we are in union with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. We are writing this to make your joy complete. 1 John 1:4.

You are designed and purposed for joy and so is every child of the Father whoever lived. And that joy is the Presence of the Father where angels, archangels, and the whole company of Heaven rejoice continually in the glory of His Name. And that glory surrounds and interpenetrates the radiance of His Presence.

To find that glory in the daily round each must seek it earnestly, believing it is there, however wrapped and hidden from the naked eyes. An eager search and hastening to whatever place the soul is led will find a clue revealing the most great and glorious truth of Our tremendous love. But there must be humility: just as the faithful loving follower of My Incarnate days wonderingly regarded the evidence of My resurrection, praising the Father from the centre of his soul, so must each daily look and ponder, listening, poised and ready.

So do I enter and surround the patient soul, uniting it with Us as life unfolds and with all others who are travelling in the Way. Herein is joy.
