Mary said, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it unto me according to Thy word."
Luke 1:38

Heaven is joy and fulfilment, the perfection of creation in one of the Father's beloved children, and that perfection brought forth man's salvation. Rejoice, all who see this joyful and glorious meeting of the Father's loving purpose for the children of His creation and the loving obedience of one of His beloved children. And look even more deeply at the quiet, devoted witness of that unswerving, life-long commitment of the Mother of the Incarnate Word to the Father's will and loving purpose. Imitate her faithfulness and ask her prayers, for she ever seeks to serve the Father, even now, in the realms of eternity, by presenting the faithful and their aspirations and needs through her obedience to the Father through the Living Word whom she brought forth in joyful obedience in the world of men.

Learn from the Mother of the Incarnate Word the open secret of the way of joyful fulfilment in life and eternity, namely, the recognition of the true nature of divinity and humanity, and the right response to that knowledge and understanding. To follow in this way, seeking illumination in the way as it is needed, and the power so to do, is fulfilment and joy at the last, even though sorrow and sadness, problems and setbacks may be encountered.

Let the response of my beloved Mother to the challenge of her demanding, glorious destiny be yours and let The Word whom she brought forth work powerfully in you.
