Jesus said, "Every scribe who becomes a disciple of the kingdom of Heaven is like a householder who brings out from his storeroom things both new and old"
Matthew 13:51

All must learn the tradition of received wisdom at their mother's knee, and as they grow to adulthood each tribe and race has in its corporate possession much that is good in teaching of the truth behind the universe and in a just and compassionate way of living. All has been imparted where it is sought.

But there is no progress without daily attention to that which each child of the Father is being communicated. Our lively Spirit confronts, challenges, consoles and sanctifies as life is lived. No-one is outside the touch of Our hand, the strong, warm embrace of Our arm unless he excludes himself by choice. Life is for living and for embarking on a sea of change. But the sea is the Father's charted waters, and no part is outside His knowledge and caring love.

So within the tradition of past knowledge and wisdom, and an increasingly sensitive mind and heart attuned to the voice and touch of your Heavenly Father, the committed child of the Father arrives in due time in the haven where he would be, in the presence of the Heavenly hosts.
