Wednesday, August 16th

Love is the centre, the goal and the meaning of all things. It is a mystery which challenges and beckons all who live on the face of the earth. To serve love, to honour, respect and to plumb the depths of its meaning and significance is the supreme end of all the faithful.

Let no false attitude accompany the search for fulfilment, no self-seeking of any kind. Each gift from the Father is shot through with point and purpose. To work and live through that which is given to each is required. The end is perfect fulfilment in the Presence of the Father and of all the faithful.

So work through that which is given you to be shared in faith and commitment, confident that "He who has begun a good work in you will complete it even to the end". All is well. Keep faith and the fulness of joy will be your reward and the reward of all with whom you travel.
