Saturday, April 9th

As surely as the sun rises each and every morning and sets each and every evening so does the love of Father embrace His whole creation.

By the nature of things the sun is from time to time obscured, and is not seen. Yet the light which proceeds from the sun suffices to lighten the way for all while the day lasts. And from time to time there is a light in the darkness: the moon which takes its light from the sun gives brightness and illumination according to the season.

So it is with the Father's love. Those who follow him faithfully work and rest and suffer confident in the knowledge of His love. So does it hold and sustain them even in the darkest moments. And it is a lighthouse to others who have not found the truth which is the source of all truth, namely the all-embracing love of the Father. They see and use the light which shines through the totally committed, and many are themselves brought into the radiance and the power of the Father's love.
