Ezekiel 33:7-9. Romans 13:8-10. Matthew 18:15-20

You are a beloved child of your loving heavenly Father: I speak to every one of the sons and daughters of the Lord your God, father of all born into His world. And that love enters the very being of the Father’s child and calls for response both to Him and also to their brothers and their sisters near and far. And as response is made love grows by what it feeds on, its power increasing as loving action and relationship in family, community and people are sought and practised in all things and in all relationships.

Each and every one is their ‘brother’s keeper’, required to care for their brothers and their sisters near and far and - individually and in the fellowship of community - give generously, heart and mind united in the well-being of one and all, according to the Father’s will and loving purpose.

‘Love is the one thing that cannot hurt your neighbour; that is why it is the answer to every one of the commandments’ (Romans 13:10)
