Ash Wednesday
Joel 2:12-18, 2 Corinthians 5:20-6:2. Matthew 6:1-6, 16-18

“You are called to life and light and love in Me: for this I brought you into the world of My creation. For this I offer you redemption in the grace and power of Our redeeming, sanctifying love” So speaks the Father to every one of His beloved sons and daughters in every race and place and faith and time.

But there must be a turning from the way of sin and service of the self by the one and many if they are to fulfil the good purpose of the Father’s perfect will. Each and every one in the Father’s world is constantly confronted by His Saving Word in all that they encounter in their daily life. As they listen and respond so do they receive the Father’s Love to enable and empower them in the way of faithfulness.

Come to me, beloved of Me and of the Father and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of me for I am gentle and humble in heart. I, the Father’s Word Incarnate and His Love – Made - Manifest in His glorious world offer abundant life and light and light and love in the power and glory of His Holy Name.
