St. Thomas
2 Cor. 4:7-15. Matt. 20:20-28

It is written in Holy Record "be faithful even unto death and I will give you the crown of life". Death is constantly encountered in the faithful and the true of heart - death to sin and to the appetites of self-love. So is eternal life increasingly bestowed on all who die to sin and service of the natural self : through My indwelling and the power of our saving, sanctifying love they are brought to new life in the spirit.

Be steadfast, then, in prayer and in self-giving. So shall We bring you to that fullness which is the Father's will and loving purpose for you, and you will be empowered to serve Him both now and through eternity in His Kingdom of eternal life and light and joy and love.
