Feast of the Annunciation
Mary said, "behold the handmaid of the Lord.
Be it unto me according to Thy Word"
Luke 1:38

See in My beloved Mother the complete and true offering to the Father's will for her and for the world. Through her obedient response to the Father's request to her to become the human vessel of His Son's Indwelling and Incarnation she set the pattern for humankind. And through her faithful and loving attention to that with which she was entrusted, the Son's life and work, and the redemption of the world was made possible.

Such was the glorious destiny of Mary, Mother of the Incarnate Son. And every child of the Father should rejoice in her faithfulness and in the grace of her obedience. And each should ponder on the wonderful truth which is revealed in and through the Father's initiative and work, in and through her, namely that each and every one is named and called to take his place in the Kingdom becoming and doing that which the Father wills and purposes for the perfection of the one and many. And to this end I seek to enter and grow in the heart and mind of each as I am invited, tending, consoling, strengthening, and perfecting in time and even to eternity.

And My beloved Mother continually offers to the Father My life in each and every one who is committed in love and self-giving to this glorious purpose.
