Matthew 9:14, 15

And daily self-giving is to be learned through offering all that is experienced and suffered in the daily round of work and relationships to the Father in faith and loving commitment. There must also be a place for self-denial and discipline according to the time and season.

But the cause of self-giving to the Father and to Our saving purpose is best served by so allowing love to live and work in you that you are drawn into the pattern of Our suffering love: so do all who so conform themselves become a vibrant part of Our saving purpose.

Herein is joy and pain, and complete fulfilment and perfection in time and through eternity. Such is the simple work and profound achievement of all who are faithful in love and commitment. And the achievement is seen and known to be their complete self-giving in and through the power of Our dynamic, all-embracing love.
