St. John of the Cross
1 Corinthians.2:1-10. Luke 14:25-33

The Father, Lord Most High and ruler of all things on earth and in heaven is powerful to fulfil all He wills and purposes. His wisdom is beyond all human understanding until the heart and mind are opened to Love’s indwelling and the light and leading of Our Holy Spirit; then the true seeker can begin to identify the way of perfection and fulfilment and the Father’s will and loving purpose for them in and through the grace and power of His Love.

The Son of Man, beloved and loving Son of the Father, identified, accepted and was faithful to the Father’s will for Him in life, through death and resurrection, and through offering His loving obedience to the Father that all the Father’s beloved sons and daughters may have life eternal and have it in abundance. (John 10:10 N.E.B.)

‘Whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he has cannot be My disciple’. (Luke 14:33.)
