Beheading of John the Baptist
Jeremiah 1:17-19, Mark 6:17-29

The dastardly deeds of wicked men and women cannot harm the faithful and the true of heart who obediently witness to the Father’s Word according to His loving purpose. They do but harm themselves. ‘The souls of the righteous are in the hands of God where no torment shall ever touch them…… they are in peace….and their hope is full of immortality’.

‘The rock of offence’ in the Father’s world can never enter the Father’s Kingdom of Eternal Life and Light and Love: disobedience destroys all hope of immortality unless there is a turning and seeking of forgiveness in and through Our redeeming, sanctifying Love.

Let the faithful and the true of heart who seek The Way, The Truth, The Life and power to walk in it according to the Father’s will and loving purpose constantly offer themselves to the light and leading of Our Holy Spirit and walk in faith and trust in the steps of the Son of Man, according to the Father’s will and loving purpose.
