St. Thomas Aquinas
Wisdom 7:7-10. Matthew 28:8-12

Knowledge, wisdom and understanding are gifts of Our Holy Spirit bestowed on those who seek them, according to the Father’s loving purpose and the diligence of the seeker. And they enable and empower in life and living.

But the sons and daughters of the Father’s love are also called to respond to His loving Presence, to glorify Him in their hearts and minds and to let Him perfect in them the good purpose of His perfect will for themselves and for His world. All are called to participate in the creation and re-creation of His world through My indwelling and the light and guiding of Our Holy Spirit. Such is the loving purpose of the Lord of all Creation, fulfilled in the faithful and the pure in heart who seek to do His will.
