St. Augustine of Canterbury
1 Thess. 2:2-8. Matt. 9:35-37. (John 20-26.)

I will gather the dejected and the troubled into My embrace, for so the Father wills and purposes. And I will use you as My agents - you who are obedient in the way of faith and love: so has it been in times past, so is it now and shall be till the end of time.

Be ready at all times to hear the word, to identify the Father's will, and to respond as you are led and guided. And how do you identify correctly? By waiting patiently in prayer and openness in love and in self-giving.

Have faith, both in the power of Our saving, sanctifying love and in its over-riding purpose to keep you faithful to the end - as you desire it.
