St. John Vianney
Ezekiel 3:16-21. Matt. 9:35-10:1

Each man is called to be ' his brother's 'keeper'; each guided into his particular path for loving service. As each is individually called so are the groups, communities and nations called to serve the Father and His world in mutual self-giving. But selfishness, hatred, and exclusiveness have marred the Father's world by little and by much, so individuals and minorities have suffered violence, neglect, and poverty. Such is not the Father's will: continually He calls both individual and community to fullness and perfection through the practice of integrity and thoughtfulness and self-giving in the cause and power of love.

Let each beloved child of the loving Heavenly Father desire to know and do the Father's will through prayer and single-mindedness and self-giving. Love is the challenge, love the key, and love the means to fullness and perfection for the one and for the many.
