St. Bernard
Ecclesiasticus 15:1-6. John 17:20-26

Love is one and indivisible, the essence and the power of all that is. The Father is love, so is the Son and, even so, Our Holy Spirit. Pervading the whole of all creation which issued from Eternal Love before time was, Love seeks to draw to
Himself in joy unending the whole redeemed and sanctified creation in time and for eternity.

The challenge of immanent and transcendent love is offered to every one of the Lord God’s beloved sons and daughters. Let one and all – alone and in the fellowship of meeting – rejoice in love and in self-giving to Him who gave them life and calls them to the fulness of eternal life in Him in His redeemed and sanctified creation.

I, the Father’s Love Incarnate, bring all who are in Me and I in them to the glorious Presence of the Lord of All through My indwelling and the light and guiding of Our Holy Spirit.
