Apocalypse 1:1-4, 2:1-5. Luke 18:35-43

Each child born into the world is given sight by his Heavenly Father. So he is enabled to see and identify, recognise and perceive the things around him which make him increasingly familiar with his world and with things and people in his world.

There is another sight the Father offers: it is the enlightening of the mind accompanied by a quickening of the heart to all responding. Through feeding by the Word and strengthening by the Spirit this sight develops in the grace and power of Eternal Love. Only sin, wilful opposition to truth and culpable inertia prevent the emergence and development of spiritual sight and understanding of the deep things of the spirit. I am the Light of the world: he who follows Me will never walk in darkness but live his life in the light.
