St. Polycarp, Bishop & Martyr
Apoc. 2:8-11. John 15:18-21

Suffering is a privilege for the faithfully committed in Our love for it witnesses to Our redeeming purpose and is a sharing in My offering to the Father. Only once was sin and death defeated, and that dynamic action and experience by the Son of Man is adequate for all the sons of men to plead their offering to the Father for the salvation of their souls. But all may share that offering and the suffering as they accept with joy and thanksgiving the gifts of Our redeeming, sanctifying love. And all receiving them in love and self-giving become one in Us and with each other as they continue faithful.

Pray for faithfulness to the Father's will and loving purpose as it is revealed to you. Accept the grace and power of My Indwelling as continually I offer them each moment of each day. And glorify the Father ceaselessly with joy and thanksgiving.
